The premier championship for amateur women golfers, age 50 and over, the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur was inaugurated in 1962.  Over 500 women will vie for 132 spots and the chance to be crowned “national champion” at Hollywood Golf Club this September.  Ellen Port of St. Louis is the defending champion, a six-time USGA victor and 2014 Curtis Cup team captain.
